Happy Sunday everyone! 🤍

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and I can’t wait to see you in the new year.

Keep stretching those ponies, and be sure to give them an extra carrot (or 2) over the holidays 😉🎄

See you all in 2021!

A very good video by Veterinarian, Dr. Chad Hewlett.

We aim for our equine athletes to heal in the best way possible. Paying strict attention to detail during their rehabilitation is crucial for a slow and correct healing process✨

Introducing Maya Pedersen ‘s young boy, Phoenix. This was his first massage treatment with me, and he absolutely loved it!

✨Signs of release and relaxation may be:

Licking and Chewing
Yawning
Release of bowel movements
Low and relaxed head/neck ✨

Phoenix had many releases and was so curious and intuitive during the session... Take a look at his kind, soft facial expression while he is releasing through a large yawn.

He is truly the sweetest 4 year old. Thanks for having me out, Maya! 🤍

Happy Monday everyone!

❄️ With the colder months approaching, I want to take a moment and discuss what this means for our horses.

It is very important to make sure our horses are nice and warmed up before we start stretching or exercising them. This is crucial during the winter months, as we want them to be as safe and comfortable as possible.

A proper warm up will:
• Help reduce injury
• Assist in proper activation of the muscles
• Assure you don’t cause any minor muscle damage
• Help reduce any lactic acid build up

If you happen to have an outdoor appointment booked, I will be sure to check in with you before you’re appointment to make sure it is still appropriate for both you and your horse ❄️
