Sometimes changes can happen on multiple levels. As our identity, beliefs, and values evolve, so too does our external world.

As within so without.

But that doesn’t mean it’s all sunshine and roses.

It can be unsettling to not know what life will look like on the other side of this dismantling.

I know this because I’ve been there. And am still building forward, one step at a time.

I didn’t do it all alone. And am not doing it alone.

I had/have support of a partner, friends, and my tarot cards to guide me through.

Sometimes a tarot reading tells us what we need to hear. Not what we want to hear.

As much as I want “easier” readings, these often aren’t helpful. Like junk food, they’re great in the moment but leave us wanting more.

Using tarot to look under the surface, can get to the root of things. Can shake us out of a rut. And help us see things from a fresh perspective. Nurturing our souls in a new way.

And often, this is where our greatest growth and highest good can happen.

My burnout was a complex experience and there was no “one” factor creating it.

But there was a lot of underlying drivers that I unpack in this quick tarot card draw.

9 of Swords & 9 of Wands, clearly doing too much and not having the capacity to do it all on my own. Yet maybe too proud to get help or delegate.

This “doing too much on my own” now becomes the new red flag for me outside of the one’s I already know.

This is how I use tarot for myself and my clients, which can do so much more than just predict your future. It can help you create it!

Dark night of the soul. The in-between. The liminal space. The void. The threshold.

Whatever you call this space, it’s challenging.
And can feel like a waiting room.

You know you can’t leave and go back to what was.
But also aren’t sure what’s next & when it’ll happen.

This space is disorienting as things fall away.
There’s not much to hold on to.
But you.

You aren’t failing.
This is a moment of becoming.
It is your sacred evolution.

Of gathering lost pieces of yourself that got caught up in the expectations, the hustle, the pleasing.
And a moment to redefine how you want to move from here.
What you want to create.
What you no longer want.
And what’s truly important.

Don’t rush it.
You’ll get through it eventually.
For now, get curious.
Let things dissolve while allowing who you always were, to become more visible.

Tarot can show you what you can’t see for yourself.

This is how I use tarot for myself and my clients.

And, specifically, I’ve been exploring my belief system lately.

Wondering what unhelpful (and unseen) beliefs are keeping me stuck or stagnant.

And tarot, as it does, called me out.

But when I see what I couldn’t see, I have a fresh perspective.

I can move with it differently.

Stand in more certainty.

And that...can change everything.

Create. Don’t consume.

When you lean too heavy on trends, videos, blogs, workshops, and the dang algorithm, you lose touch with what inspires YOU. You let your vision get buried in noise.

So rather than consume, start creating without an agenda. Without a big plan. And trust in your skill and creativity.

Leap and the net will appear. What if it doesn’t?

If it doesn’t appear, you aren’t doing it wrong. It doesn’t mean the path isn’t aligned or correct. It’s just a moment where the measure of success changes.

Where your vision and determination must be stronger than proof.

So do you avoid leaping into that unknown?
Deny yourself the excitement of doing what you love?
Or, do you weave your own net, leap, and enjoy the process of whatever comes next.

I left a 20 year career behind for a new path.

One that felt more aligned to a truer expression. That could help people more than a single design ever could.

It was far from easy. And not pretty some days.

This threshold was dark. Scary. And full of doubt.

My beliefs were challenged.
I confronted fears head on.
And I let go of alot.

Guess what...that work hasn’t stopped. I just got better at dealing with it and trusting.

And I couldn’t do it without my handy tarot deck, peer coaching support, and YOU!
