Creston Valley Hospice Society

Creston Valley Hospice Society Hospice was a term used centuries ago to describe places of refuge along paths of the Swiss Alps. Harry Haberstock.

Our goals are to offer emotional support and companionship to people with life-threatening (life limiting) conditions and who have limited social contact as well as increase public awareness of Hospice in the Creston Valley. These shelters provided loving care and rest to weary and travelers. Today, Hospice is a system of care that still provides support, respite, and relief to travelers walking t

he path of a terminal illness along with their loved ones. The focus of hospice today is on the individual and their families. It takes a team of dedicated people to provide support and care to the whole person: emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As volunteers, we are a part of that team providing support where it is needed. Creston's Hospice Society began in 1987, founded by Dr. William Mitchell-Banks and Rev.
