The Disc Clinic on Portland Street is joining the Choice Health Centre community and will become Choice Health Centre - Portland. This is part of Choice Health Centre’s continued growth and commitment to making collaborative, patient-centred care more accessible across HRM.

With Marc stepping back from ownership, Choice Health Centre will be assuming ownership of the location. The Disc Clinic has built strong relationships with patients and community members through years of thoughtful, knowledgeable care. As part of Choice Health Centre, the clinic will continue to build on that foundation while gaining access to additional resources, shared knowledge, and broader multidisciplinary care options over time.

The clinic hours on Portland Street are a little different than last year this time. Lake Echo's hours are the same, but the location changed at the beginning of this year!

During the winter months, snow shovelling can be a pain, considering that each shovelful of snow weighs about six pounds. That’s a lot of repetitive lifting, and wear and tear on your back.

Lake Echo, now at 514 Ponderosa, is scheduled to be open at 1. But do NOT venture out if you feel unsafe, DO please call though if you will not be coming. Due to the inclement weather, we'll be closing the office at 5:30 this evening to make sure we can all get home safely. We'll be back tomorrow at 9:00 until 5:00 to finish off 2025!
