This garage build was all about creating space that grows with the family. A studio and garage designed to complement each other, with room for a future loft hangout once the kids are older. Sometimes the best part of a build is the space that's "not quite there yet" but full of potential.

Looking for a custom sauna? We’ve got you covered. Whether a new build or a retrofit of an existing space, we offer a wide variety of customizable designs that meet your needs. Here we’ve featured a retrofit we completed this year. We use local knotty Eastern white cedar and clear Western red cedar for our interior finishes. (This client selected Western Red) If a turnkey sauna is more to your liking, check out for the best option to suit you.

Sadleir House (tag their account in post)
Built in 1892, Sadleir House is a jewel in Peterborough’s architectural landscape. Originally constructed as a single-family dwelling, the cooperatively run house currently serves a wide variety of groups and individuals in the greater Peterborough community. To meet the House’s growing needs staff sought to create two fully accessible bathrooms that meet current Ontario accessibility codes. Working in an historical home is not without its challenges but through the work of our team and sub-trades this project came together smoothly, creating two unique accessible spaces to serve the house and its guests for decades to come. Plumbing by Berardi Brothers Plumbing, floors by Focus Flooring and tile from Turco Tile.

This build took our Modern Studio in a new direction, creating a remarkable artist’s studio overlooking iconic Stony Lake. Adding custom built shelving and storage, and built in accordance with the client’s needs to operate a professional-grade kiln, the 16’x10’ footprint of the Modern Studio has been utilized to its full potential as a space for creativity and artistic expression.

We love working with clients over multiple projects to continually improve their homes and recreational properties. This client on Wollaston Lake first had us build and install one of our early Modern Studio designs, and several years later had us back to create a more welcoming and easily accessible property with a custom multi-level deck, a new covered porch and full replacement of the existing deck’s railing system, all done with locally milled eastern white cedar.
