I worked with Sadie and Layla to set up first aid for APS! They were organized,very good with correspondence, and very professional. It was great working with them and APS!! Great doing business them!

It’s International Youth Day, so there’s no better opportunity for us to introduce two exceptional leaders who are with us this summer as Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) Coordinators!
 
Aaniin, Sadie and Layla!
 
Cousins, just 4 months apart, both are from Garden River First Nation.

Sadie will be going into her fourth and final year at Algoma University where she’s taking psychology and playing varsity basketball. Layla is going into her third year at the University of Toronto taking Indigenous Studies and Women and Gender Studies.
 
Sadie hopes to go into the policing field after post secondary studies and Layla hopes to lead a successful career in leadership while helping indigenous peoples.
 
They have worked together in previous years coordinating youth programs and shared that they “thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to coordinate and support the youth within the YIPI program this year ☺️”.
 
We’re so fortunate to have these two incredibly passionate, focused, and dedicated leaders impacting our communities in such positive ways. Miigwech for being here! 🧡

I’m so happy to have been able to find some wonderful instructors to teach our courses. We now have enough to double our number of courses offered both to the public and corporations/agencies. All of them are either paramedics, paramedic students, firefighters or nurses. All with knowledge and experience to teach First Aid CPR with passion and real life stories. I can now focus on just scheduling and running the day to day business. Of course I’ll be a back up instructor if someone can’t make it so we don’t have to cancel courses 😉. Look forward to some introductions of our instructors!!
