~ Carnelian is formed by silica rich fissures and iron oxide impurities that seep into molton volcanic rock. When they cool and harden they become a quartz crystal called Chalcedony stone.
The Iron giving it that Orange/ Red color.
Historically used for healing, Roman Soldiers wore the Carnelian stone for strength and courage. Carnelian stone is also used to heal emotional blockages.
Egyptians would bury Carnelian stone in tombs to guide the dead in the afterlife.
