We would like to welcome our new Housing Manager Nikita Gauthier to the team.

Tansi, my name is Nikita Gauthier. I am Métis from the Lac Ste. Anne area, born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. My journey has been shaped by lived experiences that challenged me, strengthened me, and ultimately built the resilience and perspective I carry with me today. Through those experiences, I developed strong life management skills and a deep understanding of what it means to rebuild, grow, and move forward with purpose. Along the way, I came to truly appreciate the power of community—the people, supports, and connections that uplifted me during some of the most difficult times in my life.
Those experiences didn’t just shape who I am—they shaped what I stand for. I value connection, honesty, growth, and the importance of giving back to others in meaningful ways. I believe that healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Today, I am driven by a passion to walk alongside others on their journey, offering understanding, guidance, and encouragement rooted in both lived experience and genuine care. My goal is to help others recognize their own strength, rediscover their voice, and build a life they are proud of—because I know firsthand that change is possible when you have the right support and someone who truly believes in you.

A Journey of Recovery, Purpose, and Community 💛
Kerry Gladue, founder of Shaganappi Recovery Solutions, has walked his own path of recovery — transforming lived experience into purpose. Through healing, commitment, and perseverance, Kerry has dedicated his life to helping others find hope, stability, and long-term recovery.
Kerry brings both lived experience and professional training to his work. He holds the designation of CIAC – Canadian Indigenous Addictions Counsellor, supporting culturally informed approaches to healing, and CSAS – Certified S*x Addiction Specialist, helping individuals navigate complex areas of trauma, addiction, and relationships. These designations allow Kerry to combine cultural understanding, education, and therapeutic tools to support deeper healing and long-term recovery for those he serves.
Kerry is also the author of “Second Chances” and creator of a recovery program workbook that is already making a difference. His work helps individuals better understand trauma, while guiding people through healing and education connected to intergenerational healing and personal growth.
