58,856,652 Shocks!
That's the number on the counters of our three focal devices at Unpain Clinic this morning. Electromagnetic only. I didn't even add up the electro-hydraulic and radial pressure wave units.
Almost 59 million shocks. Delivered by hand, one client at a time. Heels, shoulders, knees, hips, low backs. People who were told there was nothing left to try.
And I'm still learning.
Still watching tissue respond in ways I didn't expect. Still adjusting depth, energy, and position mid-session because the client on the table is telling me something a protocol never could. Still surprised, honestly, at how much this technology can do when the person holding the applicator actually understands it.
That's the part most people miss. Shockwave isn't a button you press. It's a modality you read. The device controls the delivery. Your body controls the response. Almost fifty-nine million shocks in, that lesson keeps repeating.
So if you've had shockwave somewhere else and it didn't do much, I'd ask one question. Who was holding it, and how many had they done before you?
Experience isn't a marketing line. It's a counter.
