I don’t usually share personal circumstances here, but I’m at a point where I need to be transparent.

Right now, my children and I are facing the risk of losing our home.

Over the past year, I’ve been working to rebuild stability after leaving an abusive situation, while continuing to show up for my work, my clients, and my responsibilities as a parent.

I have done everything I can through the appropriate channels, including Alberta Works, Community Bridge, Civida, and other supports, but what I’ve found is that help, when available, is partial and often delayed.

At this point, there is still a remaining gap that I cannot cover alone in time to prevent eviction.

I want to be clear about something, I fully intend to continue building, working, and moving forward. But stability has to come first. It’s not possible to sustain work or growth while managing imminent housing loss and ongoing crisis.

This is not something I am comfortable sharing publicly, but I have reached a point where I need to ask for help.

If anyone is in a position to contribute, even a small amount, it would go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads.
