Choosing materials, figuring out what fits, balancing each piece and making adjustments when something doesn’t quite work — there’s a lot happening behind this creation!

Through hands-on activities like this, our LPA learners explore textures, shapes, balance and spatial awareness, while strengthening concentration, independence and problem-solving along the way.

It might look like she’s just pouring water… but those little hands are doing a whole lot more. 💧

Pouring is a classic Montessori practical life activity that helps children develop fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, concentration and independence — all through something they’re naturally excited to do themselves.

And yes, a little water on the table is part of the process. 😂

Learning to say, “I can do it myself,” starts with moments just like this. 💛

What does a green frog have to do with learning French? Quite a bit, actually. 🐸💚

Vert for green. Grenouille for frog. Add colouring, conversation and a little creativity, and suddenly new words have something for little minds to connect them to.

That’s one of our favourite parts of learning at LPA — French isn’t just something we teach, it’s something children get to see, say, create and experience.
