Spiritual message from a splendour of Damselfies ✨
I recently saw a splendour of Ebony Jewelwings—about ten of them—flying in circles right by the water, basking in the sun. It felt like a direct message from the universe about the massive shift I’m going through.Right now, I am transitioning from a deeply spiritual worldview to a much more practical one. I’m letting go of old expectations, blocking the time-wasters, and finally writing my book about uncovering repressed childhood trauma and my lifelong connection to angels.The damselfly represents exactly where I am at. They are born in the water—the emotional, subconscious world—but live their adult lives grounded in the air. That is me: grounding my spiritual wisdom into real-world action.Watching them fly out in a circle and return to the exact same leaves mirrors my healing journey. It’s a reminder that it is safe to fly back into the heavy memories of my past, as long as I return to my safe, sunny, present-day reality.The spiritual signs have been quiet lately, and I used to worry I was losing my connection. But this splendour reminded me that the angels haven’t left. The quiet just means they trust me to take the wheel. I don’t need to be perfect; I just need to protect my space, trust the process, and write my story.
