💙 Grey-Bruce, I’m asking for your help!

On September 19, I’ll be heading to Toronto to take on a 21 km walk in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

As a small local business, we’re incredibly grateful for the support our community gives us — and now I’d love to rally that same community behind a cause that touches so many families.

🚨 Tomorrow is a BIG day to donate!

Starting August 11 at 9:00 a.m. for 24 hours, every donation will be doubled up to $250 per participant while funds last, thanks to PMCF partner Symcor.

Safety Program Facilitator (Occasional Position)

KidServices Grey Bruce is growing, and we are looking for enthusiastic, dependable team members to help deliver engaging safety and life skills programs for children and youth throughout Grey Bruce.

Our programs help kids build confidence, independence, and practical skills through interactive, hands-on learning experiences.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children and youth ages 8–15
• Is positive, energetic, and comfortable leading groups
• Has strong communication and organization skills
• Is reliable and professional
• Wants to make a difference in the lives of local children and families

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with and facilitating safety education programs
• Supporting children through activities, discussions, and skill-building exercises
• Creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
• Travelling within Grey Bruce to support community-based programs

Requirements:

• Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
• Training provided by KidServices Grey Bruce
• Experience working with children, youth, education, recreation, or community programs is an asset

Position Details:
This is an occasional, flexible opportunity primarily supporting PD Day programs and other scheduled courses throughout the year. The position operates on an independent contractor basis, with no guaranteed minimum hours or ongoing work commitment.

Ideal for educators, ECEs, educational assistants, child and youth workers, students, retirees, or anyone passionate about empowering kids with important life skills.
