My dog Anna “helped” me pick blueberries yesterday in the drizzle. Yes, I was wearing pajamas and a bug net. 🤷‍♀️ lol The blueberries grow along my driveway so we didn’t have far to go. The slugs and snails had a field day with the berries, I think, because half of them had little bites out of them. Anna’s “job” was to eat those for me. She had fun catching them.

Do your pets like blueberries? 🫐

In just the last 24 hours, the Newfoundland and Labrador Menopause Experience of Care Survey has grown from 1,957 responses to 5,062 responses.

Help Wanted

Now Hiring: Temporary Private Caregivers (ASAP Start)

Angel Health & Wellness Group is urgently seeking two reliable and compassionate individuals to provide dedicated, in-home support for a senior client in Glovertown.

Role Details:
-Position: Private Caregiver (Independent Contractor)
-Openings: 2 positions available
-Compensation: $20/hour
-Duration: Temporary contract (Start Date: ASAP)
-Schedule: Initial early morning part-time hours 3-4 days per week (0545-0930), with the potential for increased hours as care needs grow.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, shaving, and incontinence care.
-Perform general household and housekeeping duties.
-Act as a dedicated advocate for the client’s comfort and well-being.
-Communicate daily with a designated family member to provide updates after every shift.

Requirements & Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience assisting with ADLs.
-Strong experience supporting individuals with anxiety and depression.
-Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
-Palliative care experience is an asset (preferred, but not strictly required).
