Introducing
🧠"Neuro" 🧠
This peice will be apart of the virtual art gallery for the London and Region FASD conference. This organization helps support the needs of individuals living with complex mental health/developmental disabilities and their families.

I dove into this idea with alot of creative free flow , letting this peice become what ever it was meant to be. Reminding myself that this project specifically didnt really have to fit into my normal style and also didnt need to make sense to anyone else. Its weird,Β  its different,Β  its everything I was trying to capture,Β  And im so happy with the turnout.

The term neurodivergent describes a person whose brain processes, learns, or behaves differently than the societal standard, known as being neurotypical. It is not a disease or a flaw, but rather a natural variation in human thinking that brings unique strengths and daily challenges.

Base layer using one color , I do this technique to ease into the intimidation that comes with a blank canvas. This tip also helps with muscle memory so now ill be calmer and more trusting with myself when I go in with all the details.

Onto the next gallery peice! Just a rough sketch. This one is for a organization bringing awareness to Neurodivergence ( when a person's brain works, learns, or processes information differently than what is considered typical). The vision of what I want to paint came to me pretty quickly, but , this is going to be a CHALLENGE for me. Drawing /painting faces is NOT my comfort zone. Sooooo this should be interested. But if you know me im up for a challenge ⚑️ I want to share my process because maybe it will help others see that there are " ugly " stages in your work sometimes, but if you just keep working at it things will come together! So follow along this journey with me.
