💕She is here! 💕

Our little girl arrived safely and smoothly bringing with her an explosion of love and gratefulness. Her big sister is completely enamored and beyond helpful. Her Mom and Dad are tired 😉 and totally in awe of our little family.

Now back to newborn snuggles, sister bonding and post partum care 💜

Emotional Warning: Pregnancy Announcement and mention of pregnancy loss

The short of it - yes! We will soon (in October) be a family of 4🎉

This is truly a miracle and I’m in awe as I try to take it all in.

Clarke was our first rainbow baby after 3 losses and then after Clarke there were 2 more losses and here we are 24 weeks along with our second rainbow baby. 🌈 The words of my doctor still ring I my head from every positive pregnancy “Cautiously Optimistic” 🙏🏼

It is not lost on me that some endure 6 years of trying without conceiving. I send love to those processing and navigating their journey.

My commitment to me is to do my best to navigate this pregnancy after loss with love and care for myself and my family. The last couple years have shown many of use that who we are at our core and how we nurture ourselves effects everyone around us.

We are going to take it all in being a family of 3 this summer and eagerly await this new family member.

While my coaching business is booming (🎉) I’ll be gearing down as I prep for a newborn again soon.

If you would have told me years ago I would be 40 and pregnant I wouldn’t have believed you. If you would have told me that I had stepped into a truly authentic me, fulfilled in every way and doing what I love - I would have believed you 😉 🙌🏼

Don’t expect more from me in IG, likely less😅

✨Common question I receive: Do you use crystals? ✨

Short answer: Yes!

When?
🧖🏻‍♀️ Reiki: before or after a session I receive or give to amplify the energy. For example if someone sees a lot of green during a session I would suggest a heart chakra Crystal such as jade. 💚

🧘🏻‍♀️Meditation: I may line them up in order of chakras. Especially during a chakra cleansing meditation.

〰Energy Alignment: I sense I am missing something. Again related to chakras if I feel out of alignment and I need to bring more of something in I will pick up the associated Crystals and place them in more visible locations.

It’s all about creating intention and reminders of those intentions ✨🙌🏼

❗️don’t forget to cleanse your crystals when you by or receive them. If they are washable (and not all of them are) then rinse them under cold water. If they are not washable then smudge them to cleanse.

⏰ Time to shed those limiting phrases!

As a female leader and coach to female leader we spend an exorbitant amount of energy and thinking on how we want to be perceived. I hear the phrases “bitchy, bossy and most common lately, aggressive” when women describe the leader they don’t want to be. Then when asked what leader they DO want to be they use worlds like “determined, persistent and passionate” Then I ask- that’s the difference? 🤯 Start describing yourself in the positive light you deserve and don’t hold back your talent for fear of being seen as “aggressive”.

Now go mail that meeting, interaction, promotion👊🏼 It’s yours for the taking!

Because when your husband asks that you jump up and exclaim “yes- that’s my new philodendron Tahiti! 🏝 “ and rhyme off every other plant name and what you love about them. Then he continues to comment on you how “lush that corner is, it looks like out of a magazine and is so you” I will take that and run with it!

But seriously, what’s your “Dear Me” Pledge?

In all honesty I’ve been more “doing” than “being” lately. I’ve been hustlin’ and bustlin’ and it’s just the beginning of November. I am noticing some old habits sneaking in - skipping breakfast, forgetting to drink water, eating on the go… This morning I felt my anxiety ratcheting up up up. I took a deep breath (ok like a whole breath work sesh), shed a few tears, then promised myself to sloooow down, pay attention. Not next week, not after the holidays but TO-DAY!

So book the facial, schedule the dinner date with pals, sign-up for that Holiday planter workshop or don’t! Say no or go slow. Honour yourself because this holiday season feels like it’s coming in hot! 🎄

To the Mr. Fix It, eternally positive, true to his words & actions, make me cry laughing, biggest supporter, my 10/10, best cappuccino maker & pizza flipper a woman could ever dream of being married to - Happy Anniversary to my non social media husband! So he may not read this (I’ll be sure to tell him 😉) so my message to you today is to believe that you are already whole and finding a partner is about accentuating all the love and good you both have - together. For better and for worse - together.

Day by day they say! 🌅

I’ve been taking it easy over here lately, enjoying my little one discovering nature, garden harvests, sun and sunsets. Trying to take it all in - day by day.

To be honest, juggling the launch of 2 businesses has been A LOT. Feeling pressure from myself mostly to succeed, recognizing that and exploring the root of my striving ways. Learning that I can take it easy AND get stuff done.

Daily reminders of at least one of the 7 pillars of mindfulness supports me:

All in good time - patience.
Everything is temporary (so many emotions here) - impermanence.
I am strong and resilient - trust.
I have everything I need - non-striving.
I’m exactly where I need to be - acceptance.
I’m making space for the potential - letting go.
Imagine the world through my little ones eyes & mind - beginners mind.

Gratitude to and for the beautiful teachings last year as part of the mindfulness & meditation training that guide me and help me support others. 🙏🏼
