The HUG Vest, a medical accessory for central venous catheters. We are gifting the HUG Vest to the first 50 users that sign up.

Eligibility:

Parents/caregivers with a child ages 0-10 with a Hickman Line(s) willing to wear and complete user feedback form within 30 days.

✓ Can be removed or donned during treatment
✓ Helps decrease risk of infection
✓ Helps reduce risk of central line dislodgement

✓ Helps reduce risk of lines from twisting and occluding

This is Hayden. My daughter and hero, the inspiration behind HUG Vest. (Hayden’s Under Garment).

Hayden was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour called medulloblastoma at just 10 months old. This is a childhood brain tumour. It holds no race, s*x, environmental factor or social class accountable. It was a tiny cell that went wrong and turned our world upside down.

I am a mom , but also a nurse. When Hayden had her surgery for the central line I quickly saw a need for something to help provide ease and comfort to people with central lines. I will tell you more about the vest soon, but for now let’s appreciate my daughter and her strength. Although she lost her battle due to complication of this horrible disease on January 11, 2019 she was a warrior and inspires me everyday. ❤️
