💰 $30 per interment, cremation, scattering, hydrolysis, or death registration
🤝 Collected by operators on behalf of the BAO
🛡️ Used to fund licensing, compliance enforcement, and consumer protection across the province

This fee helps ensure the funeral industry is regulated and that YOUR rights are protected. It's a small price for significant peace of mind. ✅

A niche is a small compartment in a columbarium (an above-ground structure), designed to hold a cremation urn.

Buying a niche gives you:
✅ A permanent, visited location for remains
✅ A place for family to gather and grieve
✅ The ability to have a marker or inscription

Prices will vary by cemetery — and the urn inside? You can buy that from Casket Mart. Funeral homes and cemeteries cannot charge extra for an outside urn being placed in a niche.
