NOT SURE WHAT TO BOOK? | You do not need to know whether you "need" botox, filler, Sculptra®, or nothing at all before you come in. That's why I offer complimentary consultations at the begnning of every visit. We look at movement, facial structure, skin quality, timing, budget, comfort level, and what you want to look like when the treatment has settled. Sometimes the best plan is a small treatment. Sometimes it is waiting. If you're comfortable with the treatment plan, we can likely inject the same day as your consultation, if you want more time to think it over, that's okay too!

THYROID + FERTILITY | Sometimes fertility conversations start with cycles, ovulation, and hormones, but the thyroid deserves a seat at the table too.

Thyroid function can influence cycle regularity, ovulation, energy, temperature regulation, and how supported the body feels heading into conception. If you have been told everything looks fine but still feel like something is off, this is one of the areas I may want to investigate more closely.

JAWLINE FILLER | Before treating this area, I am looking at your facial structure, chin projection, bite and masseter strength, soft tissue support, skin laxity, neck anatomy, and how the jawline connects to the rest of the face. Jawline filler is not just placed along the edge of the jaw and called a day. For this patient, we used one syringe, or 1.2 mL, of Revanesse® Contour along each jawline. The goal was to support the lower face and create more definition while still keeping the result balanced and natural. Not everyone is a good candidate for jawline filler. Sometimes the better plan is chin support, cheek support, neuromodulators, biostimulators, skin tightening, or no treatment at all. That is why consultation matters. If you are considering jawline filler, the first step is not deciding how much filler you want. It is understanding what is actually creating the concern, and whether filler is the right tool for your anatomy.

AVOID THIS MISTAKE | If you have a wedding, vacation, reunion, or photo day coming up, please do not book your botox or filler the week of. For events, I like to plan injections at least 3 weeks ahead. Neuromodulators can take up to 14 days to fully kick in and filler can come with swelling or bruising while the tissue heals. The appointment matters, but aftercare is just as important as the injections when it comes to getting your optimal results. Heat, alcohol, intense workouts, air travel, pressure on the treated area, and certain medications or supplements can all affect bruising, swelling, and how your results settle.

WHEN MOST PEOPLE THINK FILLER, THEY THINK LIPS | But the cheeks are one of my favourite areas to treat because of how much support they can give the rest of the face. The midface acts like scaffolding. As we lose volume and support through the cheek fat pads and along the cheekbone, shadows can become more noticeable under the eyes, around the smile lines, and through the lower face. I am a proud mom to twin four-year-olds, but not that long ago, I wasn't sure if I'd ever get to add "mom" to my resume. What I really needed during those years was hope. I needed someone to listen, someone to help dissect the science of my fertility issues, but to do it with compassion.
