❤️ Learning Together at Lakeshore Place!

Once a month, we’re happy to welcome Emma from Senior Helpers to Lakeshore Place for an informative presentation on a different topic.

This month’s conversation focused on heart attacks and heart health, understanding the signs, taking care of our hearts, and knowing how to respond if someone around us needs help.

Our residents found the session really interesting and walked away feeling a little more informed, aware, and confident.

🌸 A Little Creativity in Bloom! 🌿

Our residents spent some relaxing time creating their own pressed flower bookmarks and we loved seeing everyone’s creativity come to life! 🌼📚

It was peaceful, fun, and the best part? Everyone went home with something beautiful they can keep for themselves or give as a thoughtful little gift to someone special. 💛

Sometimes the simplest activities make the sweetest memories. 🌷

🐝🍯 Our residents had such a great time visiting Planet Bee in Vernon! They learned all about the bees, got to see how everything works, and even brought some honey home.

We then headed right next door to Davison Café for a little treat. ☕️🍰 Such a fun day and definitely one we’ll be doing again! 💛

🍹 Margarita Monday at Lakeshore Place! 🌮

What a fun afternoon with our residents! A huge thank you to the amazing team at Chilango for volunteering their time to make delicious margaritas for everyone and for bringing chips with queso and salsa to complete the experience!

It was such a simple, fun afternoon and seeing how much our residents enjoyed themselves made it even better. ❤️

Thank you, Chilango, for bringing a little extra fiesta to Lakeshore Place! 🍹🎉

❤️ A huge thank you to our incredible Lakeshore Place residents! ❤️

Our donation bins had only been in the lobby for a few minutes, and they were already almost full. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to help our neighbours affected by the wildfires have been truly heartwarming. 🙏

If anyone else in our community would like to donate, you're welcome to drop off new or gently used clothing, blankets, non-perishable food, toiletries, and other essential items in the donation bins located in our lobby.

We will ensure that all donations are delivered to the local wildfire evacuation support centre, where they can reach those who need them most.

Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for showing what community is all about. ❤️🙏

❤️ Our hearts are with everyone affected by the wildfires and those who have had to leave their homes during this difficult time. 🙏

Lakeshore Place is currently welcoming evacuees, and we still have a few suites available for anyone needing a safe and comfortable place to stay. If we reach capacity, we will do our best to connect you with another Regency community that may be able to help.

When Mother Nature fills the air with smoke, you bring the lawn games... indoors! 😄

Our Lemonade & Lawn Games afternoon at Lakeshore Place took a little detour, and the front lobby became our very own co****le arena. Safe to say, the competition was just as fierce (and the laughter just as loud)!

Between a few great throws and plenty of friendly cheering, everyone cooled off with our homemade lemonade, the perfect way to beat the summer heat.

What. A. Day! ❤️☀️

Our Summer BBQ last Friday was an absolute hit! The house was full, the energy was incredible, and it was so wonderful to welcome so many guests who came to experience the Lakeshore Place lifestyle.

The food was AMAZING (seriously... our chef outdid himself 👏), the live music had everyone on their feet, and seeing our residents dancing and laughing together was the best part of the day. Moments like these remind us what community is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. And an extra big shoutout to our incredible Lakeshore Place team, who worked behind the scenes (and in the heat!) to pull everything together. Your hard work, smiles, and dedication made this event such a success.

If you missed it... don't worry! We'll definitely be doing it again. 💙

🍷🇳🇿 Cheers to New Zealand!

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a fun and flavourful New Zealand Wine Club filled with laughter, great conversation, and wines they absolutely loved.

Megan prepared everything for residents to create their own charcuterie boards, from salami roses and flower-shaped strawberries to a variety of cheeses and other delicious bites. It was something different, creative, and such a hit with everyone!

We are already looking forward to our next Wine Club, which will of course be inspired by the beautiful Okanagan Valley🍇🧀🍷
