I’m excited to share that I’ll be teaching a new four-week Lymphatic Flow series at Temiskaming Physiotherapy Clinic this fall! 🌿

Over the past year, the lymphatic system has become an area of special interest for me. I’ve been studying, practising and incorporating lymphatic-supportive breathing and movement into both my personal routine and my work with clients.

In this gentle series, I’ll share practical ways to support your body’s natural lymphatic flow through education, breathing, movement and simple self-care techniques you can use at home.

If you’ve been feeling stiff, heavy or sluggish—or you simply want to better understand and support your lymphatic system—this series may be for you.

All the details are in the poster. Space is limited to eight participants, so call Natalie at Temiskaming Physiotherapy Clinic to reserve your spot! 💚

This week with the kiddos was a beautiful reminder of what truly matters in life. 💛

Boat rides, campfires, roasted marshmallows, movie nights, laughter, messy rooms, big smiles and memories being made together. The days weren’t quiet or perfect, but they were full—and so was my heart.

These are the moments I want to hold onto. Time together, being present and watching the kids simply enjoy being kids.

Family, love and shared experiences—this is the good stuff.

My cup is full. ❤️

🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day! ❤️

Today is a day to celebrate the beauty of this country, the strength of our communities, and the kindness we can share with one another.

I feel incredibly grateful to call Northern Ontario home—a place where nature reminds us to slow down, neighbours become friends, and community truly matters.

Whether you’re spending today with family, enjoying time at the lake, gathering with friends, or simply taking a quiet walk outdoors, I hope you find a few moments to breathe deeply, move your body, and appreciate the simple joys that surround you.

May today bring laughter, connection, gratitude, and a renewed sense of hope for the days ahead.

From my family to yours, Happy Canada Day! 🍁

💛 Strong Doesn't Have to Mean Exhausted

Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that if we're not pushing harder, doing more, or feeling exhausted, we're not making progress.

But true wellness looks different.

Sometimes strength is:

🌿 Taking a walk instead of sitting.

💪 Lifting weights that challenge your body.

🧘 Taking time to stretch after gardening.

😴 Going to bed a little earlier.

💧 Drinking enough water.

❤️ Saying yes to movement and no to burnout.

The goal isn't to wear your body out.

The goal is to build a body that supports the life you want to live.

One that allows you to hike the trails, paddle the lake, play with grandchildren, travel, garden, and enjoy everyday moments with energy and confidence.

Strong doesn't have to mean exhausted.

Strong can simply mean showing up consistently.

What does "being strong" mean to you? 💛

☀️ Happy Summer Solstice!

Today marks the longest day of the year—a beautiful reminder to pause, take a deep breath, and appreciate the season we’re in.

For centuries, the Summer Solstice has symbolized light, growth, abundance, and renewal. It invites us to slow down long enough to reflect on how far we’ve come.

Instead of asking yourself…

“What haven’t I accomplished?”

Try asking yourself:

💛 What am I proud of?

🌿 How has my body supported me this year?

💪 What healthy habits have I built?

✨ Where have I grown stronger—physically, mentally, or emotionally?

Progress isn’t always measured by the number on the scale.

Sometimes it’s measured by:

🌸 Having more energy.

🚶 Walking farther than you could before.

💪 Feeling stronger carrying groceries or working in the garden.

🧘 Moving with greater ease.

😊 Feeling more confident in your body.

Every healthy choice you’ve made matters.

Every walk.
Every stretch.
Every strength workout.
Every nourishing meal.
Every deep breath.

Today, celebrate your journey—wherever you are.

Take a moment to soak up the sunshine, spend time in nature, and be grateful for all that your body allows you to do.

Wishing you a beautiful Summer Solstice filled with light, joy, and renewal. ☀️💛🌿
What is one thing you’re grateful your body allows you to do? I’d love to hear in the comments. 💛

Most people believe staying active means doing more.

The truth?

Aging well is often about doing the basics consistently.

✨ A few strength sessions each week
✨ Daily walks
✨ Simple mobility work
✨ Good sleep
✨ Staying connected with others

A 20-minute walk may not feel like much today, but those small actions add up over time.

You don't need to be perfect.
You don't need to spend hours exercising.

You simply need to keep showing up for yourself.

Healthy aging is built one step at a time. 💙

💧 Support Your Lymph Flow Naturally 🌿

When we think about wellness, we often focus on our muscles, joints, heart, or nutrition.

But there's another important system working quietly behind the scenes—your lymphatic system.

Unlike your circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn't have a pump. It relies on movement, breathing, hydration, and muscle contractions to keep things flowing.

Simple ways to support your lymphatic system this summer:

💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day

🚶 Move your body daily through walking, gardening, yoga, strength training, or cycling

😮💨 Take a few deep diaphragmatic breaths several times a day

🌈 Eat the rainbow with a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables

The good news? Supporting your lymphatic system doesn't require complicated routines.

Small daily habits can help support circulation, recovery, energy, and overall well-being.

This week, choose one simple habit and make it part of your day.

What will it be? 💛
