CMTA has a campaign underway for the 2026 federal budget to remove the tax from massage therapy treatments. This will make massage therapy more affordable and bring it in line with all other healthcare, exempt from tax.

Today is the launch of CMTA's campaign to remove the GST/HST on massage therapy in the 2026 federal budget - removing the tax lowers the cost of care for patients.

This is about affordability.
