1. More gear doesn’t mean more gains.
Throwing a bunch of compounds into your cycle before you even understand how your body responds to one is stupid. Every compound has a different utility, and if you don’t understand what each one does, why you’re using it, or how your body responds, you’re just increasing your risk of side effects without necessarily getting better results.
2. Gear won’t make up for sh*tty training and nutrition.
If you don’t know how to train properly, progressively overload, track your food, or eat enough protein, adding gear isn’t going to magically fix that. You still need the fundamentals in place to maximize your results.
3. Your muscles can get stronger faster than your tendons.
Your strength can skyrocket, but your tendons and connective tissue don’t necessarily adapt at the same rate. This increases your risk of injury. Control your reps, manage your training load, and avoid unnecessary injuries.
4. Your blood work matters more than how you feel.
Just because you feel amazing and you’re making progress doesn’t mean everything is healthy internally. Your blood pressure, cholesterol, hematocrit, and other health markers can get worse without obvious symptoms. Get baseline blood work and monitor your health throughout.
5. Managing toxicity is important if you don’t want to die early.
If you’re using more toxic compounds and you’re not consistently monitoring your blood pressure, blood work, and other health markers, you’re setting yourself up for a short career in bodybuilding and potentially a much shorter life. Just because you feel good and you’re making gains doesn’t mean you’re healthy internally.
