Hi 👋 this has been a big shift on here, but SO much fun.
You know, I used to have a pretty healthy dose of imposter syndrome — especially as a practitioner.
There’s a weird weight that comes with educating people. You feel like you should always be learning more, knowing more, staying on top of the latest study, the latest protocol, the latest thing the internet is telling everyone they NEED to know. Then you post it, and it’s next to someone saying something completely different 😫😫
Honestly couldn’t keep doing that… I felt like I just couldn’t keep up with the modern pace of informative content.
There will always be someone who knows more than me. Someone with a new study, a new credential, a new hot take.
I hit a crossroads of either needing to LEAVE IG as my personal clinical brand altogether or just stop filtering and be me. As I did that I realized the most productive and impactful conversations in my five years of clinical practice were around the REAL LIFE moments and helping people through the nuance of “natural” health. And that’s what I am so passionate about helping people find.
Sitting in the tension….. asking better questions, looking at the nuance, and figuring out what health can actually feel like in real life.
Weirdly, since shifting here the imposter syndrome is GONE! 😂
Honestly, it’s nothing new that I haven’t believed in before. It’s just I feel like the practitioner pressure of 2026 is ridiculous — I studied macronutrients, nutrition through the lifespan, natural foods, supplementation, and suddenly I’m expected to be an expert on everything???
Anyway. Just cozying up in this new corner of the internet and wondering if you’re gonna stick around?! No pressure though 😂
