☀️☀️☀️What a BEAUTIFUL day outside! We decided to scrap table bowling, and head outside for some walking, visiting, popsicles and sun! I think we needed some fresh air and sunshine after a long snowy winter!

I think “Happy Hour” is going to become a regular thing! ☀️☀️☀️

What an amazing day!

Thank you family, friends, volunteers and staff for pitching it today for our resident Christmas party!
Everyone enjoyed a large turkey dinner, cookies for dessert, photos by a fireplace, and music from the Holioen Group! (Photos to come)

Our silent auction is over, there are some prizes left that need to be claimed and will be dealt with on Monday!

Our annual silent auction is underway! We have so many amazing prizes to be bid on! Anyone is allowed to come bid! The door to the auction will be open from 8am-4:30pm until December 18, it closes at 2pm on December 19! We had so many amazing donations this year from family members and businesses around Melfort! (Cindy’s Independent, Canadian Tire, Prairie North Co-Op and many more!)
Also our resident artist has added a personal touch to many of the prizes. Her talent astounds me!

PIE IN THE FACE!
September is World Alzheimer's Month! In honor of that, we have jars set up at the front of ADP with some staff members names and faces on them.
We are taking monetary donations in the jars. If there is a particular staff you'd like to see have pie in the face, you can put the donation in their jar!
Every one is welcome to donate. Clients, Family Members, Community Members, and other staff as well!
50% of the money raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan on behalf of the Nirvana Adult Day Program!

Donations will be closed on September 22 at lunch time, and will throw pies in the face at 2pm! I will post video and pictures at the end of the month with the results!

E-transfers also welcome and will put whatever donated money towards whoever’s jar you’d like!

We would like to send a big THANK YOU to Armstrong Trucking & Excavating Ltd.
They have provided hours of entertainment to the residents here at Nirvana by donating some large rocks for our resident artist to paint, and other residents to varnish! We are all in awe of the talent here at Nirvana!
