This month we are looking at big projects in our communities.

In 2014, Rapid City Memorials was honoured to install 64 plaques at the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum in Brandon, commemorating the Royal Canadian Air Force.

We are proud to have been part of preserving this important piece of Canadian history.

Happy Sunday, everyone! It's sure been warm! It's a busy season for our farmers, and those busy hands in the garden! It's also the perfect time to think about memorial stones as the window for installation shortens and closes with frost and snow. If you have any questions, please reach out! We've got some Beautiful stones in our showroom, and I felt this one in particular a good one to post on a gorgeous Sunday ❤️

It might be a nice weekend to go for a round of golf. If you're at the Glen Lea golf course in Brandon you'll find a few of our black granite benches. Like this one, these benches are dedicated to a community member that enjoyed the course.
Granite is a long-lasting way to honour or thank a person. Black granite allows for unique and personalized designs like a realistic photo of the person.
If you have a golfer you'd like to honour in your community, whether on a bench or plaque, give us a call or stop by one of our many locations.

Meet our Melita & Area representative – Lisa!

Lisa is our newest representative and already making a great impact in her role.

She loves working with people, and her caring nature shines through as she helps families create meaningful final tributes for their loved ones—or even plan ahead to ease the burden on their families. Her strong moral compass, incredible work ethic, and deep-rooted connection to the community make her a great addition to our team.

In her spare time, Lisa is enjoying the freedom of retirement after 24 years as a full-time dog groomer and business owner. Raised on a farm south of Souris, she has a lifelong love of animals and the outdoors. She now spends her days with family, friends, dogs, and horses—and she’s especially loving her new role as a first-time Grandma!
