What a beautiful evening at Victor Rose Café, where artist Peter Hart, Maison WILOH artists, community members, supporters, and fellow non-profit organizations came together for a special vernissage celebrating creativity, inclusion, and belonging.

The exhibition shines a light on the creative talents and abilities of people with disabilities and/or autism, offering a meaningful space for their unique perspectives and artistic expression to be seen and celebrated.

Our heartfelt thanks to the artists, our community, and everyone who joined us for this special evening. Moments like these remind us that when we come together, so much is possible. Your presence and support helped make the evening especially meaningful for Maison WILOH as we continue raising awareness of our mission: creating an inclusive housing solution rooted in a nurturing, supportive community.

We are deeply grateful to Terry of Victor Rose Café, Peter and Francine of Peter W. Hart Gallery, Lucia Griffin Photography, Fig Fleurs, and Marlene for catering this special evening. Your generosity, time, and support helped make it truly memorable.

We were also very pleased to welcome members of MLUWC and Literacy Unlimited, along with Greg Kelly, Liberal MNA, Mayor of Beaconsfield Martin St-Jean, and former Mayor of Pointe-Claire Tim Thomas. Their presence and continued support of Maison WILOH and our mission are sincerely appreciated.

To everyone who shared this evening with us, thank you for being part of a celebration of art, inclusion, community, and possibility.

For many adults with special needs and their families, the search for appropriate community housing can be long, uncertain, and emotionally difficult.

Waitlists are often extensive, and families are left wondering when the right support will become available, or whether a suitable option will exist when it is needed most.

This is one of the reasons Maison WILOH’s mission is so important.

We are working toward creating an inclusive living environment that responds to a real and growing need: safe, adapted, and supportive housing where neurodivergent adults can live with dignity, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Because no family should have to face the future with uncertainty alone.

A living environment adapted to every journey.

At Maison WILOH, we believe that independence is not measured in absolute terms, but by respecting each person’s unique needs.

That is why we offer three types of residences designed to evolve with the individual:

Type 1 – Independence with light support
Individual studios for autonomous residents, with access to common areas and minimal supervision.

Type 2 – Structured support
Simple apartments with private bedrooms for those who benefit from daily guidance in a safe and supportive environment.

Type 3 – Individualized supervision
Private bedrooms with access to small-group common spaces, ideal for those who need personalized and continuous support.

Because everyone deserves a space that respects their pace and supports their well-being.

À Maison Wiloh, nous croyons que l’autonomie ne se mesure pas en absolu, mais en respectant les besoins uniques de chacun.

C’est pourquoi nous offrons trois types de résidences pensées pour évoluer avec la personne :

Please join us for a special evening featuring a collaborative exhibition by artist Peter Hart and the artists of Maison WILOH (West Island Life Oasis Home) non-profit.

This exhibition is a celebration of creativity, inclusion and belonging. Through expressive works created by artists with diverse abilities, this collection highlights the power of art to share experiences, inspire connection and bring our community together.

Meet Peter Hart of the Peter W. Hart Gallery and some of our talented Maison WILOH artists and discover how creativity provides a meaningful way to express, connect and contribute.

We are especially grateful to Peter Hart for generously donating his original artwork "Transposing Joy Movement No. 10 - Maison Wiloh" in support of Maison WILOH.

The evening also offers an opportunity to learn more about Maison WILOH's mission to create inclusive opportunities where every individual is recognized, valued and supported.

We would be honored to welcome you for an evening of art, conversation and community.

In Quebec, many adults with special needs and their families face an important question: where can they live with the right balance of independence, safety, support, and community?

The need for specialized, inclusive housing is growing. Families are looking for environments that go beyond shelter — places designed with understanding, dignity, and long-term well-being in mind.

Maison WILOH was created in response to this need.
