Today, on the National Day of Mourning, we take a moment to reflect and remember workers who have been injured, lost their lives, or became ill as a result of their work.

In 2025, 17 people in Newfoundland and Labrador lost their lives due to work-related causes.

Over the past five years, 106 workers in the province have died as a result of workplace incidents or occupational disease.

Flags at the CBS Monument of Honour are flying at half mast to honour their memory.

Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $20.30 per hour plus 4% vacation

Key Responsibilities
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, all applicants must provide:
Recent Letter of Conduct with a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Current First Aid Certification.
3 References.
Availability to work every second weekend.

Schedule
Flexible shifts.
Weekend availability required (bi-weekly rotation).
Day, evening, and night shifts may be available.
