Join us May 16th, 10:00am at Cabot Beach Provincial Park for our first of four coastal restoration workshop/plantings all funded by the Climate Challenge Fund!

These events will give you a hands-on opportunity to learn about protecting properties with cliffs. Cabot park features a cliff similar to many shorelines found across PEI. These sites are often exposed to high winds, strong waves, and storm events. Planting with the correct native species will assist in soil retention with the goal of slowing down erosion without the use of rock armouring.

Macphails will provide shovels, plants, and teach you all you need to know about shoreline planting.

You just need to bring gloves, a water bottle and an urge to dig! This event is suitable for most ages.
