Some of us are so busy with the hustle culture around us that we forget to breathe, eat, and sleep. Some of us are so absorbed with our own pain or anxiety that we can’t see beyond it. Some of us fill up each moment of our day so we won’t have to sit in stillness with our own thoughts.

What if there was a better way to live life?

If we are paying attention to our negative thoughts and ruminating on them and acting on them, we will need to spend the same amount of time, if not more, on changing them and acting out that change!

Boundaries are not a failure to love, they’re often what allow love to be honest, sustainable, and rooted in truth. Even Jesus stepped away, said no, and stayed aligned with His purpose.
We are responsible for ourselves, not for others.
If you’re feeling stretched thin or overwhelmed, it may not mean you need to try harder—it may be an invitation to realign with what God is actually asking of you.

Boundaries can be a hot topic in Christian circles. Many christians have been influenced to have no boundaries because we are called to “lay down our lives for one another”.
I believe this topic is so important for a thriving life. So important that I’ll be doing a series of posts in the next couple weeks on boundaries.
