We had a wonderful afternoon at the Abercrombie Volunteer Fire Department, helping the Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary celebrate their 130th Anniversary! Amazing, it was formed in 1896! The Auxiliary has donated millions of dollars over the years to our Hospital. Thanks to the members for the invite today. I was joined by Pictou West MLA Marco MacLeod, and the Minister of Health and Wellness Michelle Thompson, who was a registered nurse for over 30 years. Minister Thompson was guest speaker at today's event! Marco, myself and the Auxiliary were so pleased she took time out of her busy schedule to join us in the celebration! Happy 130th Anniversary Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary! 🎉🥳
