Yesterday marked ‼️4‼️ years since I attended my first birth. I’ve supported 110 births, supported 19 families postpartum, and taught hundreds of prenatal classes since then.
I’m so grateful to all the families who put their trust in me during this special time and this year I’ve been able to join many repeat families for their second time on this journey again. 💖
Birth #110 was a particularly special experience, spent with a family who chose to name their sweet baby girl’s middle name after me, and which is an unreal honour to now be part of this family forever. 💖
I’ve spent this past year transitioning to mostly postpartum support work and while I’m fully booked for the year, I’d love to chat with any families expecting next year. I’m also Carrot Benefit and Doulas For Aboriginal Families Grant Program approved so you may even be able to receive my services from me for free! 🙌
While I’m slowly moving away from birth work so I can be more reliable and available for my son who will be starting Kindergarten next year, I am still accepting repeat clients and 2nd+ time home births. 🏡
Thank you again for all the families who invited me to spend this beautifully hard but tender time together. 💖

I absolutely love supporting redemptive second+ time birthing experiences, helping birthers feel empowered to birth the way they had wanted to experience the first time, but for whatever reasons plans changed.

This was such a beautiful, powerful, and quiet birth. The birther’s first planned home birth ended up as a hospital transfer, but this time she was able to give it another go and have the birth of her dreams. ✨

It was an absolutely wild ending to the year! 4 births in 2 weeks, because of babies coming early! I’m looking forward to a rest and rejuvenation period to kick off 2025. 🎉
