Kizuna: Gather for Nepal

Kizuna: Gather for Nepal KIZUNA: Gather for Nepal is a series of fundraiser events taking place in July to support those affected by the recent April 2015 Nepal earthquake.

Our goals are to raise public awareness about the situation in Nepal, and to provide a voice for the Nepali people. Each event is a collaboration between artists, poets, and musical and dance performers from various multicultural backgrounds. The events will include Nepal information, Nepali and Japanese music, poetry, Nepali traditional dance, and interactive art. Entrance is by donation. Proceed

s will be donated to Childreach Nepal, a reputable, local non-governmental organization that focuses on providing Nepali children with healthcare, education, rights, and protection against trafficking. Since the earthquake on April 25, Childreach Nepal has been providing relief to remote areas, and building temporary schools throughout the region. http://www.childreachnp.org/
