Mobility exercises are an important part of recovering from an ankle sprain and may help restore movement, rebuild balance and control, and support a safe return to daily or recreational activities. Dr. Akram individualizes each exercise plan so patients can continue their prescribed movements at home while progressing them further in the clinic. The clinic also provides access to specialized equipment, such as the wobble board demonstrated here, which may not be available at home or at a local gym and can add an extra challenge under professional supervision. This video is a general demonstration and does not constitute individualized medical advice.

How often should you come in for massage therapy?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer—it depends on your body, your needs, and your goals.

👐For specific injuries or chronic pain, more frequent sessions may support recovery.
🏃‍♂️For athletes and active individuals, regular sessions can help support performance and injury prevention.
😌For general stress relief and maintenance, a monthly session may be a great way to stay on track.

The right frequency is the one that works best for you. Click the link to book an appointment with us: https://bit.ly/44wJKwU

What is the FABER test? 👇

The FABER test is a clinical assessment used to evaluate the hip and surrounding structures.

FABER stands for Flexion, Abduction, and External Rotation — the three positions used during the test.

A positive FABER test may indicate limited hip mobility or irritation in the hip or surrounding areas, helping your healthcare provider determine what may be contributing to your symptoms.

Could deep tissue massage be right for you?

Here are 3 reasons it might be worth considering:

1️⃣ Targets deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue
2️⃣ Supports recovery after physical activity
3️⃣ May provide longer-lasting relief from stubborn tension

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing muscle tension or discomfort, deep tissue massage could be a great option for you.
