Planning ahead isn't giving up your independence.

It's protecting it.

When you understand your wishes, your priorities and your options before a crisis...

You have more control.

More confidence.

More peace of mind.

My job isn't to tell you what to do.

It's to help you understand your choices so the decisions become easier.

Someone recently said to me..."That's a lot of value for what you charge."

The truth is...My value isn't because I know which retirement homes exist.

It's because I understand how all the pieces fit together.

I know the questions families don't realize they should be asking.

I know the options that aren't obvious.

I know the mistakes that can cost families time, money, and unnecessary stress.

Most importantly...I know how to build a plan that's right for your loved one, not someone else's.

That's what an Eldercare Planner does.

Something I hear over and over again is, "I wish we'd called sooner."

Families spend months trying to figure everything out on their own.

Then they discover they didn't have to.

As an Eldercare Planner, I help you understand the system before you're overwhelmed by it.

Sometimes one conversation changes everything.

Most families don't realize how many options exist until they're suddenly forced to make a decision.

Then everything feels urgent.

Phone calls.

Waitlists.

Housing.

Medical appointments.

Paperwork.

It's overwhelming.

One conversation today can help you understand what's available, what might work for your family, and how to prepare for the future with confidence.

Planning ahead isn't about expecting something bad to happen.

It's about making sure you're ready if it does.

One of my clients said something recently that has stayed with me.

"I should have called you two years ago."

She had been following my page for over two years.

She knew I existed.

She just didn't think she needed me... yet.

Like many families, she spent months trying to figure everything out herself—researching online, asking friends, worrying about making the wrong decisions.

When we finally sat down together, she looked at me and said,

"I wish I'd done this sooner."

Here's the thing...

You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to reach out.

And if you are in crisis, you don't have to face it alone.

Sometimes one conversation is all it takes to replace uncertainty with a clear plan.

If you've been following my page and thinking, "Maybe someday..."

Maybe today is the day.

📞 I'd be honoured to help.

One of the questions I hear most is:

"How do I know it's time?"

The truth is... there usually isn't one big moment.

It's often a collection of small changes:
• More falls
• Missed medications
• Increased loneliness
• Forgetting appointments
• Feeling overwhelmed at home

You don't have to wait for a crisis before asking for help.

Sometimes the greatest gift you can give your loved one is planning ahead while they can still be part of the conversation.

If you've started asking yourself "Is it time?" let's talk.

Most families tell me, "Mom says she's fine." And maybe she is.

But sometimes it's the little things that tell a different story.

I don't just look at one problem. I look at the whole picture.

Because the goal isn't simply keeping someone safe...

It's helping them continue living a full, independent life for as long as possible.

One of the things I hear most often is:

"I wish we'd called sooner."

Families usually reach out after months, or even years, of trying to manage everything on their own. They've spent countless hours researching, worrying, second-guessing decisions, and wondering if they're doing the right thing.

The good news? You don't have to wait until there's a crisis.

Whether you're helping a parent remain safely at home, exploring retirement living, navigating memory care, or simply trying to understand what options exist, you don't have to figure it out alone.

My role is to listen first. I take the time to understand your family's unique situation, your loved one's wishes, and what matters most to everyone involved. From there, we'll create a personalized roadmap that gives you clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

Sometimes, the biggest relief isn't having all the answers—it's finally having someone beside you who knows the way forward.

📞 If you've been wondering where to begin, I'd be happy to sit down with you. Let's have a conversation and build a plan together.

Summer should be a time to enjoy the sunshine, not worry about whether your loved one is staying healthy.

One thing many families don't realize is that older adults often don't feel thirsty until they're already dehydrated. Sometimes what looks like fatigue, confusion, or simply "having an off day" can actually be a sign that something needs attention.

If you notice changes, don't panic, but don't ignore them either.

💙 If you're worried about a loved one this summer, let's have a conversation. Sometimes a simple plan today can prevent a crisis tomorrow.

Summer visits often reveal changes families haven't noticed before.

Maybe the house isn't being maintained.

Maybe meals are getting skipped.

Maybe they're repeating stories.

Maybe they're simply looking more tired.

These aren't reasons to sound the alarms.

They're invitations to start a conversation.

And if you're unsure what those changes mean...I'd be happy to help you figure it out.
