I have become aware of unauthorized access to my personal and business communications. I have reason to believe that an individual well known to me has gained unauthorized remote access to my phone.
At this time, I do not believe that any client treatment records, health information, appointment notes, or payment information have been compromised. These systems are protected by separate security measures and, based on the information currently available to me, do not appear to have been accessed.
However, I have reason to believe that some client names, telephone numbers, and private text message communications may have been accessed through my personal device remotly.
If you receive messages from any phone number other than my personal cell number, 306-930-7257, either claiming to be me or identifying themselves as a "concerned anonymous third party," please forward the messages to me for my records. Please do not respond to those communications.
If my contact information changes, it will be updated on my website and communicated directly to clients. If you are ever unsure whether you are speaking with me, please contact me directly at [email protected] to verify the communication before responding.
A police report has been made regarding these concerns, and I am continuing to document any information brought to my attention.
