A few snapshots from last weekend’s live conference at the in Ann Arbor — an incredible few days filled with learning, connection, and passion.

May was a whirlwind of edgework, power strides, and tons of laughs and these young athletes brought the heat every session!

Red Deer Minor Hockey Announces Marissa Graham as Head Coach for 2025-2026 Season

Red Deer, April 11, 2025 – Red Deer Minor Hockey is excited to announce that Marissa Graham will be taking over as the sole Head Coach for the 2025-2026 season. After a successful first season as a co-coach, Graham's passion, attention to detail, and commitment to player development have earned her the opportunity to lead the team moving forward.
In her first season with the team, Graham helped guide the squad to an impressive 15-9-3-1 record, securing a third-place finish in the league standings. Under her guidance, the team also made a strong playoff run, advancing to the Semi-Finals, and showcasing the success of her leadership. Graham's deep connection with the players, her ability to motivate, and her growth as a coach made this an easy decision for the organization as they look to build on their momentum.
"We're thrilled to have Marissa step into the Head Coach role for the upcoming season," said RDMH’s Jason Stephens, GM. "Her growth as a coach last season was remarkable, and her passion for the game is contagious. Marissa’s dedication to continuous learning, her strong leadership qualities, and her connection with the players are key factors that will drive this program forward. We believe her vision and commitment will take this team to the next level."
Graham's extensive playing background includes a successful career at Brock University and a professional playing stint in Europe. In addition to coaching, Marissa continues to run her own training and development company, working with athletes during the winter season to further enhance their skills. This dedication to athlete development and her expertise makes her the ideal fit to lead the team into the 2025-2026 season.
"I am honored to be given the opportunity to take on the role of Head Coach," said Graham. "Last season was a fantastic experience, and I am excited to continue to work alongside the team as we build on the foundation we've established. I’m looking forward to developing our players, fostering a winning culture, and helping the team reach new heights."
As Red Deer Minor Hockey heads into the 2025-2026 season, the organization is confident that Marissa Graham’s leadership will contribute to even greater success. With a clear vision and unwavering dedication to the program, Graham is poised to make a lasting impact on the team, its players, and the community.
