On June 9, 2026, Mr. Louis Hébert of St. Paul, Alberta, formerly of St. Vincent, passed away at the age of 92 years. Louis is survived by his loving wife, Julienne of nearly 70 years; children, Louise (Ray) Reidy, Agnès (Derrick) Mondry, André (Noëlla), Cécile (Rob) Neil, Paul (Sylvie), Laurette Corbière, Estelle (Eric) Lafrenière; daughter-in-law, Micheline. 28 grandchildren & 31 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters & 3 brothers, Georgette, Philippe (Angel), Claire, Ovide (Denise) & Raymond (Rita); sister-in-law, Vicky; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice & Régina; son, Gabriel; son-in-law, Réal Corbière; siblings, George (Gilberte), Bernard, Roderigue, Gilbert & Jules in infancy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul with Reverend Father Emmanuel Omeohanna as the celebrant. Cremation to follow. Our beloved mother, Frances “Fran” Ruptash of Sherwood Park, Alberta, formerly of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the age of 92 years. We will miss her greatly and are grateful for the many years we shared with her.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Henry) Peterson, Donna (Bill) Baker, Adele (Spencer) Thomas & Cameron (Tracy) Ruptash; grandchildren, Cameron (Sarah) Baker, Dale (Jeevan) Nagendran, Logan (Christina) Ruptash, Megan (Nick) Trail, Paige (Leo) Cook, Nickitta (William) Brown & Mackenzie (Calvin) Gow; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Fran was predeceased by her husband, Orest “Ozzie”; parents, Jim & Anna Cameron; brothers, Douglas, Gerald & Eldon; sisters, Olga Walton & Lorna (Al) Brewster; sister-in-law, Sandra Cameron; brother-in-law, Ed Walton. It is with deep sadness that we announce that on June 3, 2026, Sharon “Lynn” Proskiw (nee Kryvenchuk) from Elk Point, Alberta passed away surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 60 years after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Brian; sons, Curtis (Keeley) and their sons, Truitt & Leelin, Tyson (Brittany) and their children, Blayke, Huxley & Everly, Jason (Marisa) and their children, Payton, Mila & Rylee, Mark (Shaylee) and their furbaby, Copper. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Marlyne Kryvenchuk; brother, Darrell (Ronette); sister, Karen; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Lynn was predeceased by her father, Eric “Ralph” Kryvenchuk; her grandparents, Orville & Letty Berthot, Sankey & Lena Kryvenchuk; father & mother-in-law, John & Mary Proskiw.

Lynn was known for her big heart and welcomed everyone she met with open arms. She could light up a room with her laughter, calm a storm with her hug and she always made sure you were fed. She had the uncanny ability to turn even the most mundane moments into cherished memories and left an unforgettable mark with her love and kindness. Lynn will always be remembered for her love, strength and beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
