FREE Senior Care Navigation Workshop being held in the Charlotte County Region!

The workshop is designed to provide older adults, family friend caregivers, with information about available services, resources, and supports that can help individuals navigate aging-related needs to help them age in place or at home for as long as possible.

Big congratulations to the father and son duo of Stephen and Ryan Barter for graduating from the PSW Course and receiving their certificates from our Education Coordinator, Cindy Trafton. The Barters operate Barter’s Community Residence a new, 9 bed Community Residence dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for adults who require varying levels of assistance. Thank you to the Barter family for providing such a needed service for our area!

👵 In 2021, 6,525 seniors lived in Charlotte County, representing approximately 24.8% of the population. That's higher than both the New Brunswick average (22.8%) and the Canadian average (19.0%).

As our population continues to age, the need for:
