Modern parenting has normalized a lot of things that would've been unthinkable a generation ago... starting solids with food from factories... things that do not occur in nature... sugar for breakfast... ans the biggest elephant in the room... strangers rasing your babies like that's normal.....

Disposable diapers.
Screens before toddlers can talk, or even walk.
Ultra-processed foods marketed as "healthy."... leaving children climbing the walls and being medicated.
Children spending more time indoors than outside... slathering your kids in toxic sludge to protect them from our life source... the sun... insane.

And before anyone starts typing, I'm not claiming every parent who does these things is a bad parent... chances are they are just uneducated...and unfortunately the masses are brainwashed by media, advertising and community "professionals" that only care about their bottom line... and promoting products they either receive for free from manufacturers, or opinions bought and paid for by those same manufacturers

I'm asking a question:

At what point did convenience become more important than safety and development? At what point did the wants and needs of the parents become so much more important than the developmental needs of their offspring...

We've saved over $1,200 cloth diapering in 11 months alone, nevermind the dollars on processed snacks and formula.

The money is great.

The real win is that it forced me to continue questioning everything we've been told is "normal." There is 14 years between my children, and even with my first I was "this way". But lemme tell you, prioritizing health and development was easier 13 years ago. And more affordable. There is NO price tag that you can put on your child's development. Spend the money. Period.

🔥 Liberals, come for me.

Actually... everyone come for me.

Tell me where you agree.
Tell me where you disagree.

Tell me what modern parenting practices you think are helping children... and which ones you think are hurting them. And any tips and tricks you may have to help parents, who just want to do better... but don't know where to start.

Let's have the debate.
