In less than 2 weeks, it’ll be 2 years of Missing.
We’ve had tips come in but they’ve been various directions outside of Sioux Lookout.
Still, thank you for sharing and taking the time to reach out to the officials for those who did.
The Day Jeremy went missing,
the family member in last contact with him knew it was of big concern due to the way he exited, and left his phone behind.
He did ask a couple people to join him to go North, somewhere he’s felt as a place that he can return to years to leading up to this.
They’ve searched around the perimeter of Sioux lookout I.e any water bottles, belongings that were dropped etc., we have maps of so many trials and routes. For that, we are so grateful.
At the same time, there’s so much to be considered in the area around Sioux Lookout like borders of lakes potentially 30-60km to be covered each direction at least, the Canadian rail way and 1-5km inward, deeper trails or his own that he blazed.
Jeremy is very active, self-reliant and he is able to go the distance due to his high endurance that he’s built over a life time.
Walking was always his preference of mobility. Since that day, and until today Jeremy could only know how and where he is,
We will not be doing any searches this month or likely this summer 2026. It will be a standstill for this 2 year mark right now.
We always think of him and his spirit like all of us, is there for love and wanting to feel like he’s valued. And He is so much, very much to us, and it’s the fact that we have so much love for him but constantly feel how we didn’t get that last conversation with him how we can contact him in a reliable manner and be able to locate from what coordinate if such case were to occur.
God help us, those involved, and those who have been there since day one
and
help our hearts heal 💛
