A lot of men grew up learning to work hard, provide, keep their feelings to themselves, and push through.

When your worth becomes tied to what you do for everyone else, it can feel like you always have something to prove. Feedback feels like failure. Rest feels like laziness. Asking for help feels uncomfortable.

You can care about your work, your family, and your goals without making your worth depend on getting everything right.

You don’t have to keep earning your place. You already matter.

You've probably sat in a therapist's office and talked about the same memory a dozen different ways.
You've named the trigger. Traced it back to where it started. You’ve built a whole vocabulary around your own pain. And you still react at the same thing you flinched at three years ago.
That is not a knock on talk therapy. Understanding why something happened is real progress. But understanding isn't the same as your body letting go of it.
Most therapy works on the story. You talk it through, you reframe it, you build insight. All useful. None of it necessarily reaches the part of you that reacts before you've had a single thought about it.
This is actually the gap ART is built for.
Instead of talking through the memory again, ART uses bilateral eye movements while you revisit it, and something shifts in how the brain holds onto it. The facts of what happened don't change. You still know exactly what occurred. What changes are the images tied to it, and the charge those images used to carry.
Many clients describe it as finally being able to think about the memory without the memory running the show.
