In our growth, it can be uncomfortable when we can no longer relate to those closest to us.
Many have such great fear. That they are willing to stay in the space of uncomfortableness, WITH those that are no longer compatible, because the opposite, growth is MORE fearful than what they already KNOW to be uncomfortable.
The growth period, I find it easier when One does not attach to a group of friends.
What I mean is this;
Once a person begins to change within and it is reflected in their thoughts, ideas, perspectives and perceptions in their behavior, many times they experience what I call push-back. It creates a disturbance that can lead to drama, within the group. People get uncomfortable, possibly to the point of the person leaving the group and exploring their newfound self.
I have found this holds back so many people. Their fears of rejection hold them back and keep them in that place and space that they aren't even happy or content with, any longer.
No one said that growth doesn't have its uncomfortableness. But we can CHOOSE to see it as a growth experience and just 'let go' of the rest...
When you experience the fear, the 'stuckness', there are beliefs behind that, that you BELIEVE to be true,.that you may not even know or understand that you beleive it. These are core beliefs that limit you, me, everyone.
Once the belief is exposed, it does not even make logical sense as our very young minds came to that conclusion, then sub core beliefs and cluster beliefs were created validating the core belief throughout our young minds, into teenage years and early adult years. At that point, those beliefs are concrete and discreating them takes some deep work, a lifetime commitment of exploring our Inner Selves and thus, changing our outer experiences.and expressions...
It does take time to do the digging. Is it worth it? HELL YES!!!
In the beginning of One's journey, they may not know how to even begin the process... just having the very THOUGHT of change, creates change.
I am living proof of it and I CHOOSE to continue exploring and letting go. I continue to grow.
