Laser mole removal sounds appealing, right? No cutting, no stitches, no scars. But here’s the problem.

When a mole is lasered off, the tissue is destroyed, and destroyed tissue can’t be sent to pathology. Which means nobody can check whether that mole was harmless or something that needed medical attention.

At FCP Dermatology every mole we remove is sent to biopsy. Every. Single. One. Not because we think something is wrong, but because we believe you deserve to know either way.
