ATTENTION Caledon Dressage riders & spectators!

I will be continuing the Fascial Stretch Therapy show demos at the Caledon Dressage in July! Message me to secure a time slot.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, assisted stretching technique that targets not just muscles, but the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, joint, and organ in the body.
Unlike traditional stretching, FST uses smooth, pain-free movements combined with breathing patterns to open up the body and improve flexibility, mobility, and overal! function.

I'm also available for your equine partners this weekend! Excited to see everyone again.

Part 2 of the Equine Bodywork for Horse Owners Clinic

The next section focuses on learning the art of palpation for your horse. This involves intentional pressures to differentiate muscle tones and
understand where their may be points of tension or strain. The purpose of teaching this technique is to allow horse owners to better understand their horse’s “normal” and when a professional should be involved. As well as utilizing some simple release techniques to help alleviate tension through their body.

Part 1 of the Equine Bodywork for Horse Owners Clinic

This section of the clinic is based on learning how the horse’s musculoskeletal system relates to ours. We outline major components of muscle action/origin & insertion. We also focus on the fascial system/lines of the body. We then take a look at the horses confirmation and posture to assess how compensation patterns or imbalances can translate through the body. Learning how their body functions not only statically but how it translates into their dynamic movement is an essential part of the process.
