When a beloved pet crosses the rainbow bridge, the pain is indescribable. It’s never easy to say goodbye to the furry friend who has been by your side through countless moments of joy and comfort. Euthanizing a pet is one of the hardest decisions a pet owner can make, yet it’s often an act of deep love — choosing to relieve them from pain and suffering.

If you’re supporting someone who has had to make this heartbreaking choice, it’s important to offer empathy and understanding. Instead of feeling like you need to say the 'right' thing, sometimes it’s enough to say: 'I’m so sorry for your loss,' or 'I know how much you loved [pet’s name], and they knew it too.'

These simple words remind them they aren’t alone in their grief, and that their decision, though difficult, was made out of love. 🌈💔
