Mental health is not a foreign concept. It is something every one of us carries, whether we name it or not.
Research shows that Kurdish migrants in Western countries experience PTSD at a rate of nearly 37%, alongside high rates of depression and anxiety. These numbers are not just statistics. They reflect the weight of displacement, the grief of lost communities, and the quiet struggle of building a life in a place that was never built with you in mind.
Studies also show that one of the most significant barriers to getting help is not the absence of services. It is the fear of being judged by our own community. That stigma costs lives.
If you are struggling, you are not weak. You are human. And you deserve support.
