💜Meet Julie Ochman! 💜(she/her)

Julie works with individuals who are navigating some of the harder parts of being human, whether that’s stress, loss, illness, relationship struggles, family history, or simply a sense that something feels off and hard to name.
She brings genuine warmth and curiosity to her work, and takes her time getting to know the people she works with. Sessions are collaborative and exploratory, moving at a pace that feels right for you. 
Over time, many people find they’re better able to understand themselves, relate to others with more ease, and care for themselves with less judgment.
Julie has an interest in working with those navigating complex family histories, identity shifts, midlife transitions, and chronic or invisible illness, and is particularly drawn to working with people who are highly sensitive or find themselves caught in people-pleasing patterns.
She brings over twenty years of experience as a music educator and a thoughtful awareness of how culture, family, and belonging shape who we become.

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day, and we need to talk about the parts of motherhood that don’t make it into the photo album.
Statistics tell us that 1 in 5 women will experience a perinatal mental health condition, but statistics don’t capture the weight of the “silent” struggle. It’s the late-night anxiety, the overwhelming guilt, and the feeling of losing your identity in the midst of caregiving.
If you are currently in the thick of it: ✨ Your struggle is not a reflection of your worth as a parent. ✨ Intrusive thoughts are symptoms, not truths. ✨ You cannot “pour from an empty cup,” but you also shouldn’t have to fill that cup entirely on your own.
