Already working in Canada? There may be a new opportunity to upgrade your skills.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced a new temporary measure that may allow eligible work permit holders already in Canada to study in programs of up to 6 months without applying for a study permit.

The measure is intended to help workers develop in-demand skills while continuing to contribute to Canada's workforce—including in key sectors such as healthcare.

If you've been thinking about building a career in healthcare, this may be a good time to explore your options.

Peak College offers the Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program, designed to prepare students with the knowledge, practical skills and clinical experience needed for a career supporting individuals in our communities.

📌 Eligibility for the IRCC temporary measure depends on your individual circumstances and immigration status. Always check the official IRCC requirements before making a decision.

Before you enroll anywhere, ask the hard questions. What do the scheduling options actually look like? Who's in the cohort with you? What's the real employment rate for graduates? What placement support is actually in place once you're done? At Peak, we'd rather you ask us these questions upfront than find out the answers the hard way. 💬 Drop a question below or send us a message.
