If you’re stretching every day and still feel tight, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re just missing the right kind of stretch.

Some tension sits deeper than what you can reach on your own.

Stretch Rx is therapist-guided stretch therapy designed to release deep tension, improve flexibility and mobility, and reduce stiffness through targeted, one-on-one sessions.

Each session is delivered by a certified stretch therapist, such as a kinesiologist or physiotherapist assistant, with care overseen by a registered physiotherapist or chiropractor. Because of this, sessions may also be covered under most extended health benefit plans. Check with your provider to confirm your coverage.

You start with a 30-minute assessment to evaluate how your body moves and build a personalized stretching plan that evolves as your mobility improves.

📍 Now available at:
Trilogy Physiotherapy West (Etobicoke)
East Toronto Orthopaedics (Danforth)
Rebalance (University Ave)
Lifemark Scarborough Village (Scarborough)

👉 Book your 30-minute assessment with a registered physiotherapist or chiropractor to get started.

We’re excited to welcome our new Physiotherapy Resident, Jaime, to the Trilogy Physiotherapy team! Many of you may remember her from her final UofT placement with us, where she made a fantastic impression on both our clients and our staff.

With a background in competitive dance, Jaime’s passion for physiotherapy started early as she worked through her own dance-related injuries. She brings that same dedication and understanding into her practice today, emphasizing a collaborative approach and individualized treatment and exercise plans for every client.

Outside the clinic, Jaime loves attending concerts, taking spin classes, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

We’re thrilled to have her on board — and you can book with Jaime starting today!

🥊Patient Spotlight: Jaco “Danger” Crouse🥊

We had the pleasure of working with Jaco the past few months as he trained for the boxing match this past weekend. This is an amazing event put on by and that takes 12 people with no prior boxing experience and puts them through 6 months of rigorous training to prepare them for a sanctioned boxing match.

Jaco’s dedication to his training and fundraising for this event was unmatched!
Through the course of his training Jaco suffered 2 inferior shoulder dislocations, both of which required a hospital visit to reduce, and set him back in his training. He could have given up and cancelled the fight, but instead he dedicated himself to an intense rehab program. He put in the work day in and day out, and he was able to be ready for fight night! Not only that, he single-handedly raised over $40,000 for cancer research!

While the result on fight night wasn’t what he wanted, he was a winner just by stepping into the ring. He would tell you that his grit and determination pales in comparison to what those fighting cancer have to endure on a daily basis. This is one of the reasons why we love being a small part of this great event, and helping to end cancer in our Lifetime!

Our physiotherapist Paul Godlewski officially retired from practice last month. Paul has been with Trilogy for the past 8 years and is the definition of a consummate professional. We’ve always said that there is nobody in the city that knows more about concussion and vestibular therapy, and we truly believe that! He’s taken many courses and certifications (including a vestibular certification from Emory University in Atlanta) and continued to learn and refine his skills up until his retirement.

Paul was instrumental in creating and growing the vestibular and concussion services at our clinics. He had many trusted referral sources, including family doctors, ENT specialists, and concussion and vestibular specialists. He was always willing to mentor any of our countless staff members who were interested in vestibular and concussion rehab. He also brought our PT Brendan Pynenburg under his wing, and passed along his caseload to him so his legacy will continue. You can expect the same great treatment from Brendan as he learned from the master!

Did we mention Paul literally wrote the book on concussion therapy?! Released last year, his book titled “Concussion: Brain on Pause, How to Hit Play” is an evidence-based guide on concussion self-management. And of course, in true Paul fashion, he is donating all proceeds from the book to concussion research and prevention.

Paul will be missed not only for his clinical expertise, but also his great demeanour with patients and staff. He always had a knack of making patients and staff feel comfortable with a funny comment or silly joke. We know he’ll be keeping himself busy in retirement as he’s been working hard in his garden all Spring!

Congrats on your retirement Paul! Thank you for the impact you’ve had on our clinic, your patients, and the profession as a whole. Truly a career to be proud of!

We’re excited to welcome Registered Massage Therapist Jude Taylor .rmt to the Trilogy team! His journey into massage therapy began with a deep curiosity about the human body and its incredible potential for recovery and resilience. This led him to earn an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto—two experiences that shaped his approach to care and deepened my commitment to wellness.

He brings a diverse skill set that includes deep tissue massage, myofascial release, dynamic release, and Swedish massage. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, navigating prenatal or postpartum changes, managing a neuromuscular condition, or simply seeking relief from everyday tension, he’s here to provide a tailored treatment plan that meets your unique needs. He also specialize in scar work and sports recovery, drawing from his own active lifestyle as a powerlifter, hockey player, and golfer.

Jude’s goal is to empower you to move better, feel better, and live better. He believes in addressing the root causes of discomfort, not just the symptoms, to help you regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve your overall quality of life.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find Jude at the gym, on the ice, or on the golf course, staying active and embracing the balance of strength, movement, and recovery. Jude is in the clinic on Fridays and Saturdays. DM us or contact the clinic to book your appointment!

The Trilogy team had a great time celebrating the holidays this weekend! We tested our escape room skills (or lack thereof) . Let’s just say you shouldn’t lock us in the clinic in the dark!😂

The party continued but the photos were too incriminating to post!😊

We’re wishing all our patients and friends a happy holiday season as we move into our busiest time of year before some well deserved R&R over the holidays!
